From time to time, using the sweat service on a virtual hosting service, you may have a question about setting the sensitivity of the spam filter. At different times of the year, users encounter a large number of spam emails.

The hosting control panel has the ability to configure the sensitivity of receiving spam emails for each mailbox. To change the settings, go to your hosting control panel, go to the mail tab and select the mailbox for which you want to change the filter settings.

Make sure the antispam filter is enabled, expand the advanced settings to change the sensitivity of the antispam filter.

By default, the average value is 5; the scale allows you to adjust whether emails are classified as spam. The lower the value, the higher the sensitivity of the filter and the greater the likelihood of the letter being perceived as spam. The higher the value, the lower the sensitivity of the filter.

If you receive a lot of spam, set this value to 3 or 4.

If regular emails are often perceived as spam, add domains to the whitelist and set the value to 5 or 6.

The antispam filter by default learns itself based on the spam folder. If you accidentally transferred a regular letter, then in the future this type, including the sender, will be perceived as spam - to avoid this, add the sender's domain to the white list.

Thus, by moving unwanted emails to the spam folder, you will receive them less and less each time.
