[Shared hosting]
Date of publication: 15.10.2023

After purchasing hosting and domain, DNS servers for the service are registered automatically. So you just need to wait for the domain delegation. As a rule, it takes from 8 to 24 hours for zones RU, SU, RF, etc. For international zones, delegation usually takes a few minutes.

If you decide to change your hosting provider and transfer your site to us, you need to specify our DNS servers in the domain control panel. This should be done after moving the site to avoid downtime.

1. DNS server of virtual hosting

  • ns1.synay.net
  • ns2.synay.net

2. DNS record editor

Editing DNS records is carried out in the hosting control panel. More.

2.1 Applying settings

After making changes and adding new entries, they will be displayed in the list; to apply them, click the Update button. If you think that you made a mistake somewhere and want to cancel the changes, click the Cancel button.

3. Changing DNS servers for a domain registered with us

To change the DNS servers of a domain that is located with us, you need to log into your personal account, go to the Domains menu and select the required one from the list. Next, select one of the available options (Change DNS for a domain / Manage name servers / Name server / Name servers).

Within 10 minutes the settings will be applied. You can check them by making a request indicating your domain name using the link:

https://synay.net/whois?query=domain.tld
...
Name Server: NS1.SYNAY.NET
Name Server: NS2.SYNAY.NET
...

This answer indicates that our domain is configured for a shared hosting service.
