Child hosts can only be added for international domains. For example, to delegate a domain to itself, you will need to create 2 child hosts. When creating a child host, you specify the IP address.

1.3 Service capabilities

Register child hosts by specifying them for the domain and assigning an IP address to each.

Once added, these hosts can be checked with the ping command.

ping ns1.node-name.com

The IP address you specify must match the one issued through the command.
