SSL EV (Extended Validation) Certificates are issued in accordance with EV directives published on Certification Authority. EV certificates may be issued to governmental organizations, private or public organizations or commercial organizations, including sole proprietorship, general partnerships, and unincorporated associations that meet the requirements below.

In order to begin the process of extended verification, the "applicant" must pass the confirmation of compliance in advance when submitting information.

 
EV certificates can be issued to private or public organizations that meet the following requirements:

  • A private or public organization must be a legally recognized legal entity registered with the appropriate official registration authority (for example, issuing a registration certificate).
  • A private or public organization must have a registered representative specified in the registering authority, a registered office (according to the laws in force within the jurisdiction of registration) or its equivalent.
  • A private or public organization should not be in the records of the registering authority as "not active," "invalid," "not relevant".
  • Jurisdiction of a private or public organization and / or geographical location of its activities should not be in any country where the Certification Center is prohibited from acting or issuing certificates in accordance with the laws relating to the activities of the Certification Centers.
  • A private or public organization should not be included in any government refusal or prohibitory list (for example, the list of organizations that are subject to a trade embargo) in accordance with the laws relating to the activities of the Certification Centers.

EV certificates can be issued to business organizations that meet the following requirements:

  • A business organization is a legally recognized legal entity, in the process of establishment, which completed the necessary forms in the registering authority in its jurisdiction, the issuance or approval by such registration authority of privileges, certificates, or licenses, and whose existence can be confirmed by the registering authority.
  • A business organization must have verifiable physical existence and business representation.
  • At least one principal representative associated with a commercial organization MUST be identified and confirmed.
  • The identified primary representative MUST be certified according to the descriptions in the User Agreement.
  • In the place where the representative office of a commercial organization is represented under the accepted name, the Certification Center shall make sure that the commercial organization uses the given name, according to the requirements, i.e. Domain name must be registered on a legal entity.
  • A commercial organization and an Identified Principal Representative associated with a commercial organization should not be located or reside in any country where, by laws under the jurisdiction of the Certification Center, (CA) is prohibited from making transactions or issuing certificates.
  • The business organization and the Identified Principal Representative associated with the commercial organization should not be listed in any government refusal or prohibitory list (for example, the list of organizations that are subject to a trade embargo) in accordance with the laws relating to the activities of the Certification Centers.

EV certificates can be issued to government organizations that meet the following requirements:

  • The legal existence of a government organization MUST be recognized as laws that fall within the jurisdiction of the corporation.
  • A government organization should not be in any country where laws that fall under the jurisdiction of the Certification Center (CA) prohibit transactions or issue certificates.
  • A government organization should not be included in any government refusal or prohibitory list (for example, a list of organizations that are subject to a trade embargo) in accordance with the laws relating to the activities of the Certification Centers.
