Knowledge base → CPU load limits for shared hosting plans

[Shared hosting]
Date of publication: 17.10.2023

CPU load (CP) - processor time spent on performing account tasks during the day. 1 CP (cpu points) per day will be equal to 1 * 24 hours = 24 CP, for 2 CP per day 48 CP, etc.

By default, the total load per day should not exceed the indicators specified in the tariff plan.

In our case, we consider CP on Intel Xeon E5-2690 v4 x64 2.60 Ghz processors

Specifying the equipment is important, since all companies have different processors and servers, which means that one more powerful processor with the same load will have enough CP, while another will not.

When choosing hosting, you have the opportunity to compare not only the CP value, but also the processor power itself, on which these indicators directly depend.

We decided not to introduce separate tariffs for highly loaded hosting and made the transition from the initial tariff to the maximum. Thus, the Business and Business + tariffs began to further reflect their purpose, falling under the highly loaded and professional hosting tariffs.

While the Start + and Standard tariffs are also expanded in load limits and are suitable for semi-professionals.

The line of tariffs has been updated since Oct/14/2023; tariffs with the same names until Oct/14/2023 have been moved to the archive and are no longer available for order. Anyone can switch to new tariffs through their personal account.
