To protect domain data, there is a service called Hide whois data. For different providers, this may include a small cost. We provide this service to all our clients free of charge. By default, when registering a domain, you can connect it and it will hide the domain owner's data.
There are various reasons why you need to show the owner of a domain for a short time, usually these are payment gateways connected to the site to accept payments from clients. The payment service must verify the owner and then it is better to hide the data again to avoid spam.
In this guide we will tell you how to manage this service for each domain in your personal account.
Please note that this service is not relevant for all domain zones, for example, for domains in the ru, su zone it is not provided since the data is always hidden and cannot be opened. The service is also not provided for other national domains due to its absence for these zones. In most cases we are talking about international domains, where it can be turned on and off.
