検索エンジンに新しいページの存在を知らせ、現在のサイト構造を伝えるには、すべての内部リンクを含む sitemap.xml ファイルであるサイトマップを作成する必要があります。サイトマップを作成するには、外部サービスを使用するか、CMS の追加プラグインを使用するなど、いくつかの方法があります。それぞれの方法には長所と短所があります。

この例では、別の PHP スクリプトを使用してサイトマップ ファイルを作成する方法を見ていきます。このスクリプトはインターネットで見つけたもので、ファイル ヘッダーに作成者へのリンクを残しました。作成者のページにアクセスして、そこからダウンロードできます。ここでは、期待どおりの結果になるように若干の編集を加えたため、ファイルの形式で提示しています。

1. スクリプトフォルダを作成する

2. スクリプトの実行

sitemap-gen フォルダーのルートで、domain.tld の代わりにドメインと、sitemap.xml ファイルが保存されるパスを指定します

スクリプトはサイト上のすべての内部リンクをバイパスし、準備ができたら完了を通知し、かかった時間を示します。

作成プロセス中に、現在クロールしているページも表示されます。

5000 ページのサイトマップの作成には約 45 分かかりました

必要に応じて、このタスクを cron に追加して、スクリプトが sitemap.xml ファイル内のデータを定期的に更新するようにすることができます。
